Force and Partical System

This week we were introduced the application of objects in coding and it is amazing that me have this function. We get to construct one class and simply call it whenever we need it again.
This week's assignment is to use the object function and create a couple of balls and apply forces to them using Newton's Laws. Furthermore, we should also make the program responsive to mouse clicks and key strokes.

Here's a snapshot of what I did:
  1. click on a ball to lift it and change its color
  2. click and drag to move the ball
  3. press "SPACE" key to lift them all
  4. press "1" to pause/resume

Data Visualization

This week's assignment is data visualization. We were given the data from
https://data.cityofnewyork.us/d/m6ar-24vj?category=Transportation&view_name=Cyclist-Count-by-Year-At-Selected-Commuter-Location and we were supposed to visualize the number of cyclists seen on certain commute locations in New York. The following is the result of my work.

Sol Lewitt's Wall Drawing

Today is the very first day of my coding career. We were introduced the software Processing in class, and it uses the language Java to create programs and drawings.
The first assignment for the class is to make to drawings following the instructions below.
  1. On a wall surface, any continuous stretch of wall, using a hard pencil, place fifty points at random. The points should be evenly distributed over the area of the wall. All of the points should be connected by straight lines. (From Sol Lewitt's Wall Drawing #118)
  2. The Eighth point is located halfway between the two points where an arc with its center at the first point and with a radius equal to the distance between the first and the seventh points would cross (points 3-4:) a line from the upper right corner to a point halfway between the midpoint of the bottom side and the lower right corner.(From Sol Lewitt's Wall Drawing #305)
This is what I did:
