GMAT All in One courses are designed to help GMAT test takers from various background who need help in their preparation of GMAT exam, but do not have access to excellent instructors. Through the 14-day course, students are expected to have learned the methods to tackle each type of the questions being asked in the test, as well as how to understand what information the passages provided, their logical structure and main purpose.
Since this course is designed for Chinese students only, most of the materials prepared for the course is in Chinese language. Though most of the materials have been translated into English for your viewing, some of it may still be in Chinese. Overview
The GMAT All in One course is comprised of Live Lectures, Pre-recorded Videos, Carefully-chunked Exercises and 24/7 online support from teachers, teaching assistants and downloadable materials. What we aim to achieve through this design is not only to get students to go through the course seamlessly, but also to form a big learning community where students can encourage and help each other. That's why each class in broken into 14 days and only allow no more than 50 students to participate.

Live Lecture OnlineSix 2-hour Live Lectures are scheduled during the 14-day All in One course, in which students can listen to the instructor talking about key concepts and strategies, and raise questions and get instant feedbacks in realtime. Of course, there are issues that prevent students from attending such lectures, such as schedule conflict with work, internship, or other lessons, as well as emergencies or simply having overslept. That's why the course allows unlimited replays of lecture recordings, so that students who misses a lecture can catch up on their own schedules, and students who have doubts can double check what the teacher actually said.
|
Unlimited Replay on Featured VideosOn the days when no live lectures are schedules, students still has a lot to learn, because everyday is assigned at least one video that helps students with their abilities gap in either English, logic or background knowledge. Similar to Live lectures, students are encouraged to keep up with the schedule, but are allowed to rewatch the videos for as many times as they wish to, so that they can constantly come back and check on things they didn't understand or simply forgot.

Carefully Designed Exercises Broken Down to DaysKeeping up with the workload is hard; it's even harder when one is learning from a remote location and does not have a learning peer or community. To solve this problem, this course not only assigns each class a teaching assistant who constantly reminds the students to keep up with the good work, but also provides student a convenient way to track his progress. With the help of an interactive schedule, one can easily see whether he has finished the assignment for the day, and enjoy the achievement of crossing out all the entries after he is done. To see an example of such schedule, download the files below.

Step-by-Step Exercises & Detailed ExplanationsOne of the biggest problems for Chinese test takers is that they learn great methods, and ways of thinking in class from their teachers, but do not follow through when they are doing it themselves. After all, lectures from teachers can promote awareness, but do not guarantee behavior change, unless they are facilitated with guided step-by-step exercises to establish these habits within students themselves. On the right is a flowchart used to walk the developers through the processes I intended for the students to go through. Below is what the developers has achieved. A similar but altered version is also available in my other project. Since the course is intended for Chinese students, the majority of the UI below is in Chinese.

Intuitive Design throughout the Course to Free Students' Cognitive LoadOne major concern for online courses is whether students can keep up with what teacher's talking about and achieve the same result as the conventional face-to-face teaching. It is true that this could be a challenge to teachers teaching online, but with intuitive and consistent visual aids and well-scaffolded lesson plans, there's no reason to suspect that one can achieve as much as, if not more, from such online courses. See more slideshow document examples on my LinkedIn page.

24/7 Access to Live Online Help and Q&AA great class can't exist without the teachers' support outside classroom. Students in every All in One class have their own online channel where they can share thoughts, discuss issues, ask question, get feedback from instructor, and even just chat and gossip. A warm online community where students feel comfortable to participate makes the course complete and even better.

Evaluating Student PerformanceBeing an online course or having too many students should not be acceptable excuses to neglect individual students. All in One courses use special algorithms to track students' performance and progress, provide students with personalized advice accordingly, and notify teachers to pay special attention when necessary. (Hint: the Radar Chart on the left is interactive, click on it and see performance of different students! )

Success
Launched in December, 2015, the All in One courses has already helped 2,500 test takers from all over the world (with initially 3 teachers, and now 6) to prepare for and get a better score in the GMAT exam in less than a year. I personally have taught almost 500 students from various background. Some people are worried about the result of online courses, as students tend to get lazy and quit halfway through the course. All in One courses, however, help the students achieve better scores through an extremely high rate of course completion. Most reviews from the students claims that the thoughtful design of the course, the wonderful community support and the charismatic performance of the instructor helped them to easily finish all the course contest (live lectures, videos and exercises alike). As a result, the average finish rate of the the courses are higher than 80 percent, way higher than average finish rate in the industry. In a three-month-after-class survey conducted amount students, countless students expressed their gratitude towards the All in One courses they took, asserting that the course not only helped them in preparation of the test, but also enhanced their reading ability and logical thinking.
